Kevin Postupack

Orbis500@hotmail.com

Outsider artist, activist, guerilla poet.

For 20 years a practicing jazz guitarist and composer, Postupack paints like an improvising musician—changing keys, building texture, running the range of pitch, timbre, and tonality to test the limits of his chosen art. He approaches a canvas as John Coltrane would a solo, taking risks, not holding back, the result being a wide range of work all coming from the same place, what John McLaughlin called “the inner mounting flame”.
